My blogging experience

Hi:

Today i will talk to you about my blogging experience.

This is my first blog. I am not very addicted to the computer so i never thought of created one until i have to do one by force in this subjects.

I have to be honest, i don`t really like this blog thing.I don`t like have to write every week about something that i am not really interesting. When i have to do the blog at home i always forgot it. I not have the habit of write every week, I barely check my email every day, sometimes i am not check my e-mail on weekends and sometimes there are several importants messages.

But i have to say, It have to write every week, even i don`t like it, it’s help me to improve my english. Now i see mistakes that i am not realized that i committed. Especially in gramma.

I did not have a systematic learning throughout the school years. My first class in english was when i was 10 years old and the main activity was paint or decorated the copybook. The next year y had a very strict teacher in a school taught English from 6 years old, so i was very behind. Then when i was in secundary my teacher changed and she was a little bit lazy. So i learn watching movies o seen the news in english, for that my englis it very good in some areas and very deficient in others. That is why the blogging experience it help me to correct my mistakes.

The blogging clases are good because you have to sistematic practice the writing. But if you don’t watch and check your mistakes it doesn`t serves much. If you use the on-line translate for a Word its OK, but when you used for complete sentences or more, you don`t learn anything and that is very difficult to supervise by the teacher.

Ken Robinson says schools kill creativity

He started talking about three principal subject:

the evidence of the human creative

the impredictibility of the future

and the capacity of the children of create

He talk about how the publish educaction kill creativity because it punish the mistakes and for can create you have to be prepare to fail for you can create something new.

In the publish educaction the most importants subjects are Math an English, and mister Robinson ask to the audience the important of the art and dance for example.

He talks about the origins of the public education, and their goal was created people who can work, so the artist was a bad thing, the artist can live of the art, they have to work in a industry. And now the goal is enter to the University, it had a degree.

In conclusion, we have to change the public education perspective about the creativity, because if the school still kill it, the children will have not future

My favourite subject

Hi:

I kwow that i was absent this past two weeks, but now i’m back and today i`ll talk to you about my classes this semester.

As you know i’m study psychology, i’m in second year or my third semester. I have about six subjects. I have some subjects about the career, other about sport and this about english.

I think my favourite subject is psychopathology, because i’ve learn so much about my career, i’ve seen pacient with mental illness, so i have to seen face-to-face what i can and i cannot do as a future professional. It’s tough but also it’s exciting.

I ‘ve several teachers for this subject, about three, and they are all good, but with one we go to the mental institution and we seen pacient.

In generally, i’ve learn so much this year, i’ve learn about all the things that i can do as psychology, all the areas that i can dedicate when i’ll be a profesional, and that is very exciting.

Sigmund Freud

Today i will talk to you about a very important person in Psychology, Sigmund Freud.

He was an Austrian doctor, creator of Psychoanalysis. He started his career with hipnosis and he used to treat the mentally ill. Then he used the techique called Free Association and the Dreams Analysis. All this it become on the started point of Psychoanalysis.

I like him because we still use his theories in Psychology, although we re-read him with some “correction”, the essence is still there. The psychoanalysis it can be applied in other fields, it explains many things in history, for example or in the everyday issues.

Some people said that psychoanalysis is not science, so it could not be used to explain what happens in a person’s mind. For me, the psychoanalysis it can use for the clinical psychology, especially if we think there are a group of power in science who decided about what is good or bad (in history they were wrong many times, so why not now?).

Freud revolutionized the way of seeing the mental illness, and his theories still do it. You can like or not Freud or Psychoanalysis, but you can denied his contributions to our field.

My Career

Hi again:

Today, i will talk to you about my career, Psychology.

I am study this carrer almost by accident, becasuse i wanted to study medicin but i didn’t enter, however, when i saw my score i realized that i could enter to this career and in this University. I wasn’t planning to move in to Santiago (it’s not a very friendly city) i wanted to stay in the south.

After almost two years here, i have noticed that i really like this career, that it will be a mistake enter to medicine.

Some of the things that make me become aware of that, it is the contribution that i can do to the society. We can help to make better people life, their families, their work, etc. They don’t necessarily sick, they have only a problema who they need to fix.

For doing well my job i need to read a lot, i need to know almost everything about waht happens on their mind. If the person sit on a particular way, y need to know that and i help him or her or them. I don’t need any specificies tool, like the doctor (that is good, because i don’t spend to much money as other students in other careers).

There are so many different approaches to study human mind that i don’t know all of them. For that reason i can say what is my favorite, or wich one i will use to treat a pacient.

Any way, i really like my career, every day i like more and more. I discover new thing, new ways about how we work without even noticed and that’s awesome.

I like this photograph, why?...

Hi, again:

This time i will talk to you about some photographs that i like. Photographs about a place call Chiloé.

Chiloé is located at south of Chile, in that place my father grew up and i lived my chilhood there.

All this picture were took it by my father, and show different places of Chiloé, specifically the “Isla de Quinchao”. The first photograph shows the tipical sky a moment before rain, and i love the rain because i grew up in the south where always rain. The second one is about the landscape that i always saw when i was young, i used to contemplating every time i could. And the last one is about the road and people who live there. The people always treated me so well even when they didn’t know me at all.

I am not quite sure when my father took this picture, but the things have not changed much there.

Chiloé is my second homeland after my born city (Osorno), that why is so important to me this pictures because is a piece of memory that i bring to me everytime that i want it, with just look at it.

Today i will talk to you about a career related website. As you know, i study Psychology and i really like my career, however i don't visit this kind of website too much. 

There is a website who has been very usefull on my two years in University, this is http://www.cybertesis.net/ . This is a Uchile website and contains full paper of several students of the University with different topics.

I know this website my first month in the University because i had to do a homework that required some research, my teacher at that time told me about this website and since then i use it every time that i need to do research for some paper or homework.

This website is very complete, it contains full paper about several topics, there are many about psychology and when i need to do some research about other stuffs this website can help me too.
